I haven’t posted a blog for a couple of months. I have a lot of reason that I won’t go into
The last month and a half have given me a fresh prospective on God’s work in this world. We are a;ll “assigned” a time in this world when God first wrote our name in the book of life. We don’t have any control over that time. I remind those who have had a tragedy in their lives and have cursed God because it happened.
We need to understand that we have a finite time on this planet and then, as followers of Christ, we will be with Jesus in Heaven. We ask what is our time? Only God knows, and if we are Christians, we need to live our life as Christ lived His life and shine our light in this world.
Yes, those who aren’t believers will curse God for the problems that befall them. I understand that.
But I also understand that we as Christians are to demonstrate what Christ would do in this world. and as scripture says “to make disciples of all in the name of the Father , the Son and the Holy Spirit.”
But those who don’t believe need to understand that Christ gave us the Holy Spirit to guide , direct and comfort us. We live and walk with Him. I have recently experienced a tragedy in my life. But I know that God is there., and that God is with me and the person that I lost. I want you to know, that in the midst of my tears, I praise God because He has walked with me through this time and that he tells me that I will be ok, That is what happened will ultimately be for good.
Please , if you have not accepted Christ as your Savior, I ask that you do so now, even as you read this message. The only way to negotiate this world is to have God at your side. I pray that you accept Him as your Savior and Lord. AMEN
